The heart and soul of any video editing system is the Non-Linear Editor (NLE).  

I started creating digital videos with Vegas Pro software back in 2002.  Vegas was my NLE of choice for many years.  I still use it.

DaVinci Resolve is fast becoming my new favorite.  Known for its amazing Color Correction, it's now a fully capable NLE.  

I finally had a good reason to use Adobe Premiere Pro earlier this year when I updated an existing series of videos for a client.
